- Roadside access to the Kerry Cliffs
- Breathtaking views of the dramatic rock formations on the coastline
- Best views of the Skellig Rocks in the distance
3:00pm Return to Finians Bay and the Driftwood Coffee bar
5:00pm Drive along to Balinskellig to visit an ancient Priory
- Built and inhabited by monks who moved from Skellig Michael (5th Century desolate monastic living in dry stone beehive huts with no water or fresh vegetables) to establish a priory in the 12th century and adopted the Augustinian rule of monastic life
6:30pm Back to Cahersiveen to visit the birthplace of Daniel O'Connell
9:00pm Back to the cottage for a dinner of corgette fritters, avocado and beetroot salad and nut roast
