Day Trip to West Bay, Bridport, and Hive Beach in Dorset
- Early start at 7 am to drive to Dorset and arrive at Rise restaurant in West Bay for breakfast at 9am, overlooking the bay
- Excellent Aussie breakfast of smashed avocado and poached egg on sourdough toast with Cortados
- Walk around the pier to get a view of the Jurassic coast cliffs (location of key scenes in the Brit Drama series Broadchurch)
- Moved on down to Bridport to take part in an amazing weekend street market that covered the high street and other areas in town - even had an impromptu concert from the local community marching band
- Ended our day at Hive Beach where we sat on the beach, ate some snacks and Alex braved the icy cold waters of the English Channel - the beach was packed and the weather was perfect
